2024 Picnic and Membership Meeting
On Saturday, April 13, 2024, the beautiful Foggy Waters Marina was the host location for the much-loved annual picnic. The members who attended the picnic enjoyed great food and even better connections with old friends. The Board thanks John Case and Adam Mitchell for supplying and cooking fabulous briskets. Those who attended provided an assortment of other foods and snacks that were enjoyed by all.
The children enjoyed the activities at the Children’s Activity Center. All enjoyed the entertainment by The Fat City Swing Band. About six local artists and several dozen local businesses offered their wares for sale at the silent auction.
In the business meeting, Dr. Lee Domangue retired as the sitting President, and the members unanimously elected Jimmy Broadwell as the President. Jimmy has been an active Board member for many years, and will continue to lead the efforts to protect the watershed and all who live and work in it.
